Description
- This live sweet potato plant arrives as a rooted starter about 4-6 inches tall in a 4 inch pot, ready to transplant. Sweet potatoes are warm season plants that grow best in full sun and loose, well-draining soil. After arrival, remove the packaging, water lightly, and keep the plant in bright indirect light for 1-2 days before moving it outdoors. Plant it in the ground or a container at least 12 inches deep once the weather is warm. Water consistently but avoid soggy soil. Growth and harvest depend on climate, season, and care. Due to the natural variation of live plants, the size and appearance of each plant may differ slightly from the photos.
